I deleted my four workouts online because of the distance bug in 1.2.1 meant that the distances showing online were wrong. I intended to reupload the workouts from my phone. I installed 1.2.2 on my Samsung Eternity. (The distance problem is now fixed, thanks!) I successfully reuploaded one workout, but after that, SportyPal hangs and is unresponsive when I try to reupload the others. I never get to the "workout already uploaded, do you really want to upload?" prompt. Exiting and restarting SportyPal doesn't help, nor does restarting the phone.
Uploading immediately after creating a workout works flawlessly. It is only reuploading that doesn't work.
This is not a problem that bothers me, I don't really need to get the old workouts online, just thought I'd mention the problem.

We're unable to reproduce the issue here. Does re-uploading fail for (already uploaded) workouts made with the new version (v1.2.2)? Or does it only fail for workouts made with v1.2.1?

Or does it only fail for workouts made with v1.2.1? Re-uploading doesn't work with workouts made under either 1.2.1 or 1.2.2. As I said, the symptom is that when I press "upload", SportyPal freezes. There is one detail I skipped. The very first file I tried to reupload using 1.2.2 did work. I did get to the "This workout was already uploaded, do you really want to do this" screen. It seemed to me that SportyPal was very unresponsive at that point, and may even have hung, but the file DID upload. Since then, SportyPal just hangs when I press upload. I have to exit SPortyPal and restart. Perhaps I should press "upload" just once and wait a while. One question, I upgraded to 1.2.2 by copying the jar and jad files on top of the old ones. Is this procedure OK? I am pretty sure I would have lost the workouts if I had uninstalled first and then installed the new version. Perhaps I should try this now, and see if it cures the problem. same thing happens on SonyEricsson U100i Yari. postponed uploading fails the same way. I first noticed that case in 1.2.1. upgraded to 1.2.2 but workouts recorded with 1.2.1 just "hung" sportypal. today morning workout would upload now, i get some sort of error, saying i allready uploaded this workout, what i did just after workout. waiting for "safe workout as GPX" feautre.

Yes you would have lost the workouts if you uninstall SportyPal.
We're going to examine this in more detail.

I have the same issue with my samsung jet 8000. It appears to freeze sometimes while I try to upload, but it does work eventually if I wait long enough (10 to 15 minutes).

I had the same uploading (haven't tried reuploading) problem on Nokia N95. When you select Upload SportyPal hangs, but after a minute or two it offers me the choice of connections, and after that everything works as usual.

another case of reuploading fail. on sunday I did ~7hour ride and at the end I saved workout and wanted to upload it. unfortunately i didnt noticed i was not in range of my GSM network and uploading failed. when i got into range i wanted to upload workout but sportypal hung after pressing "upload" button. on way back home i recorded new "workout" in a car, which was uploaded succesfully and was possible to reupload even tho it was still on server. i tried to upload previous workout but it still fails. i read somewhere to wait untill sportypal reads workout saved in the phone, i wait ~8hrs so far but still no response, will wait upto 12h. maybe better way would be to try many times to start to upload instead of waiting? or new wersion of sportypal will be able to upload this workout, I hope.
