I have being using this program for a few months, every now and then run into problems, like while running the aplication reads my speed and position wrong. But this new version does not work at all, first run the aplication recorded less than half of the run and crash, today it just froze the whole phone, and after reset nothing was saved. Please fix this asap, there must be something wrong with this version as I encountered the problems after updating.

problems, it wont work, maybe it records 10min then crashes the whole phone, I am very disappointed about this. I think the team have a long way ahead of themselves, the software needs alot of development.

My cell phone is a Palm Pro Treo. I had the same problem: phone became frozen 2 times. Nevertheless, the workout was recorded. Once restarted, I could load the workout on my account. I have no idea how to help you with more details. Please feel free to contact me for further info if needed. Thanks a lot for your soft. It´s really awesome.

But it has some thing to do with GPS rotine or calculation, waiting for some thing....

I finaly capture the error (it doesn't crash every time).
ERROR:
SportyPalUI.EXE ObjectDisposelException in System.Windows.Forms.Control.invokeHelper() at h.bp() at be.i() in Microsoft.WindowsMobile.Samples.Location.GPS.WaitForGPSEvents()
I hope this helps.

I have faced similar problems on my Omnia 2 (i8000), but all of them were somehow related to sleep management, and no longer bothers me since I did this: I start my training and let SportyPal blanks my screen, don't using the lock button of the phone.

Was ok, then not ok, even before upgraded from 6.1 to 6.5 as I played with the settings but didn't note them down.
Now with 6.5 and Sportypal 1.1.1, after some settings on power and display, works fine except when there's activity like answering call, sending sms, SportyPal will crashed, i.e. quit with error.
My settings: Display and Light: Lock Screen - Lock when device is woken up (no selected) General Settings: Power, Battery Power - Turn on backlight (on), Turn off backlight (10 seconds), Turn off device (1 min)

You can go back to V1.0.9, for that you have to: 1 - Uninstall V1.1.1, 2 - Deleted SportyPal Directory, 3 - Make Registy Look for SportyPal, 4 - Delete every reference to SportyPal 5 - Download the file directely to my phone (just on the safe). 6 - Install it If you just download and install, with out deleting the registy reference, after installation, you have V1.1.1 (I've done that, and other tests more than 5 time, before changing the registy) I've gone back to V1.0.9 and I've make workouts (almost) every day without that problem

Hi! I have the same problem, my OmniaII crashes (almost everything) every time I run SP. I have only been able to make a freestyle record of one minute. But normally SP crashes when I select any type. Should I modify my phone settings? or GPS settings? Please any Administrator can help me?

How do I make the registry on my Omnia II look for Sportypal? Cannot find a registry-editor on my phone.

Just an update, since my last update, it (V1.0.9) crashed two times with the same error (on V1.1.1 crashed 90% of the times).
On the first time, it left some crap files behind so I started having stupid workouts; walking at avg. speed of 3906,51 km/h (I walk very fast).
I had to go the records files and delete a file that was there.

Hey guys I'm using the Omnia2 too.
I had the problem of frequent crashing so after emailing the SportyPal Support Team, they recommended that I restart the phone before using SportyPal.
After doing that for all of my workouts, SportyPal didn't crash anymore.

I had the same problem on my Omnia Pro B7610. In a other Forum where they were discussing about GPS Problems, I found a solution, that makes also SportyPal work. You need a Registry editor like MobileRegistryEditor (can be downloaded here) or other. Then you have to change the following Key from 100 to 0: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\GPS Intermediate Driver\Drivers\Samsung GPS Hardware\SleepOnNoData"
