First let me say that this program is great.

I start a workout session (walking), after some time the unit automatically turns off screen (thats normal), when I push a button, the unlock screen appears (thats normal too), the problem is that the unlock screen is stuck (and thats not normal at all Shame on you ).

apart of that, this program is great, a small improvement can be in the configuration screen as it is not finger friendly (the HTC HD2 is finger only device).

I am having a similar problem too, but also my hd2 is not staying locked on to the gps when the screen locks. I have been on two runs recently both have recorded the time correctly (19mins and 28mins) but apprently I have only covered 24 meters on each occasion. I lock the screen before I start once the phone has a gps lock and the new workout has started. Any thoughts anyone, Thanks in advance for any help. I have also posted on HD2 forum to see if there is a regfix for the gps and the locked status of the phone keep you posted on this too

Firstly - SporyPal Awsome Applause , SportPal on the HD2 not so awsome d'oh!

To be fair though I think this is more of a HD2 problem than anything. I have very similar issues to the users above, app works great, tracks on to GPS really nice and quickly, but when the screen auto locks the app seems to loose GPS signal.

I am looking for a way to turn of fthe auto lockout on the device, but I would be really nice if the app could do it for me.

Okay, so I am not sure why my HTC HD2 should be different, but the following works for me:

- Fire up Sportypal
- New Workout / Cycling / Start (when GPS signals found)
- Press and hold down End/Power button (physical button)
- Choose "Lock device" from the options presented
- Put the phone in the pocket / bag and get cycling
- The screen will turn off as per the general settings

- At end of workout, press End/Power button and slide to unlock screen
- Press End in SportyPal

This works for me. SportPal records my workout okay and I can still receive incoming calls.

The solution is to turn "Autolock screen" off in the settings and to turn the screen off manually after choosing Start, by pressing the End call/Lock button of the HD2

incredible, now works perfectly.
I set the settings as recommended by Nille (post # 13) and now everything works perfectly.
I for safety before each workout update your "Quick GPS" and not ever turn off the monitor with the key aspect alone We've got to turn off the program settings and I noticed that by doing so I've had no problems

one more time sorry for my EnglishAnxious
